Welcome, I'm Chelsea aka Chella! I'm a Black queer portrait photographer and owner of Photos by Chella!  

For as long as I can remember I've always had a camera in my hand. My earliest photos were taken with those disposable cameras from the convenience store. I still have stacks of photo albums filled with those glossy prints!

From learning the basics of photography in the darkroom of my high school photo lab to spending hours at my computer obsessing over my images in Lightroom, photography is still my passion. With a formal education in journalism, I like to bring that desire to 'tell the story' to all the projects I take on.
